The CEC briefed Cobe to design a new identity that represents their purpose of building quality and safety improvements across NSW healthcare services.
We took inspiration from one of the oldest symbols of the medical profession – the winged caduceus staff – and produced a mark that blended the right degree of seriousness with the right amount of approachability and warmth.
When it came time for CEC's first hospital-wide campaign, we switched to gentle humour and striking illustrations to drive home the key message: Clean Hands Save Lives. It worked.
